World Fuel Services Corporation [MIAMI] (NYSE: INT) announced that Fernando Casadevall has joined as Chief Human Resource Officer. Fernando has been Chief Human Resources Officer for Qatar Airlines Group since 2016. Fernando has also held executive HR roles with Al-Futtaim Group Companies in Dubai, Citigroup in London, Baltimore and New York and Spear, Leeds & Kellogg.
GE [BOSTON] (NYSE: GE) announced that L. Kevin Cox will join GE as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective February 25, 2019. Cox joins GE from American Express, where he was the Chief Human Resources Officer. Cox succeeds Raghu Krishnamoorthy who will be retiring from GE after 25-years of dedicated service. Cox joined American Express in 2005 after 16 years at Pepsi-Cola and the Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG), where he held positions leading strategy, business development, technology, and Human Resources.
Coursera [Mountain View, CA] announced that Rich Jacquet has joined as new Chief People Officer. Most recently, he was the Chief People Officer at Gigamon. He also held leadership positions at companies like Packeteer, Bay Networks, eBay and Yahoo!
Tilray, Inc. [NANAIMO, British Columbia] (NASDAQ: TLRY) announced the hire of Rita Seguin as EVP of Human Resources. Seguin served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Diageo North America and most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits Distributors.
Snow Software [STOCKHOLM & AUSTIN, Texas] announced the appointment of Rachel Mooney as Chief People & Culture Officer. Mooney from Vodafone, where she led strategic and operational HR for group corporate functions and global shared services. Previously, Mooney led organizational culture for Google across EMEA as well as the company’s human resources function in Ireland.
OppLoans [Chicago] announced the appointment of Karishma Patel Buford to the new role of Chief People Officer. Karishma joins OppLoans after a successful tenure as Head of Global Talent Management at Groupon. She has previously held leadership roles at BAE Systems Inc and Korn Ferry.
CHA Consulting, Inc. [ALBANY, N.Y. and BIRMINGHAM, Ala.] announced the appointment of Jennifer Chatt as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Jennifer joined CHA in July 2017 to lead human resources. She previously held senior human resource management positions at Key Bank, NYISO, Northeast Parent and Child Society and Angiodynamics.
NFP [NEW YORK] announced that Kim Davis, formerly NFP’s chief human resources officer, is joining NFP’s board of directors. In addition, Davis will take on the newly created role of chief diversity and inclusion officer. Ginnette Quesada-Kunkel and Mary Steed will join NFP’s Executive Management Committee as chief human resources officer and chief people officer, respectively. Quesada-Kunkel, currently senior vice president of HR, will become executive vice president and assume oversight for the HR function as chief human resources officer. Steed, currently senior vice president of HR, assumes the newly created role of chief people officer.
Gilbane Building Company [PROVIDENCE, R.I.] announced that Katherine Johnson joined the company as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, succeeding Pierre LaPerriere as he retires at the end of 2019. In her most recent role, Ms. Johnson served as global vice president and head of human resources for buildings, infrastructure and advanced facilities for Jacobs in Englewood, Colorado. She also held a range of domestic and international human resources management roles of increasing responsibilities at CH2M over a span of twenty-four years.
